On 14 December 2020, the 1,300 m long Arlinger Tunnel was broken through. The 125 million euro project is the centrepiece of the new Pforzheim western bypass in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and will bring considerable benefits for local residents once the tunnel is open to traffic. The tunnel was excavated in approx. 16 months using NATM.
Geodata was responsible for the construction and heading surveys and the geotechnical measurements on behalf of the construction company. We congratulate our successful team on site for their outstanding work!
