We received the order from BBT for the geotechnical measurements and tunnel scanning for Lot H41. Lot H41 is one of the largest construction lots on Austrian project territory and, with a length of around 14.3 km, extends from the Sill Gorge via the Ahrental to Navis. The construction work on this lot is scheduled to be completed in a period of 80 months until summer 2028. In total, approx. 22.5 km of main tunnel tubes and 38 cross passages with a total length of approx. 2.3 km will be excavated in this construction lot.
For lot H52 we got the order from Swietelsky Tunnelbau GmbH for the construction and heading surveying and geotechnical instrumentation. The area of the new construction lot H52-Hochstegen is located in a geological fault zone characterised by an extremely complex geology. A total of about 2.6 km of main tunnel in the direction of Brenner, 0.6 km of connecting tunnels, five cross-cuts and 1.2 km of exploratory tunnel in the direction of the south are to be excavated. A 2.5 km long residual excavation of the crossing at the Wolf South junction is also part of this lot.
