Fv17 Liafjellet – Olvikvatnet

Project description

The completely new road through the Liafjell mountain range replaces the existing road that was threatened by natural hazards. The project comprises around 1900 m of tunnel work through Liafjell and around 400 m of tunnel work through Bakliholt.

GEODATA services:

Our local branch Geodata ITMS AS in Oslo, in cooperation with Geodata Projekt d.o.o. from Croatia, was commissioned to carry out the construction and heading survey for the tunnel excavation and the concrete works for the inner lining and GNSS measurements. The location of the construction site north of the Arctic Circle was a particular challenge for our personnel.
