Project description:
The full extension of the 8.3 km long Gleinalm tunnel comprises the construction of the second tube and the general renewal of the existing tube. The new tunnel tube was excavated by blasting and opened to traffic in June 2017. Afterwards the general refurbishment of the existing tunnel tube, which is almost 40 years old, will take place.

GEODATA services:
We were commissioned by ASFINAG to carry out the geotechnical measurements and the control measurements. The range of services includes basic and network measurements, inventory and control surveys, 3D displacement measurements including delivery of the targets and the marking material, tunnel scanner surveys and vibration measurements for the new and existing tubes.
Construction surveying is taking place for the renovation of the almost 40-year-old tube.
