Rockfall Pürgg

Project description

The settlement area of the Upper Styrian town of Pürgg is directly threatened by a rockfall. An extensive monitoring programme was executed to monitor the rock face both during the construction of a protective dam and afterwards.

We are essentially commissioned with the following services:
Planning, delivery and installation, commissioning, operation during the construction work for the protective dam, development of an alarm system and transfer into a continuous monitoring system after the construction work has been completed.
Rough assessment of the threat scenarios and flights in the area with a drone by means of a drone.
Daily evaluation and analysis during the construction work and risk assessment for the release of the construction work
Geotechnical and accompanying geological assessment of the project and construction supervision of the dam construction work.
