U5/2 Frankhplatz & U2/22 Rathaus

Project description: 

U5/2 Frankhplatz:
Two station shafts and two station tubes with a length of approx. 150 m each; two line tubes with a length of approx. 165 m (NATM track 1) and approx. 72 m (NATM track 2); station cross-passages Q1 and Q2, connecting tunnels, escalator inclined shaft and escape route niches.

U2/22 Rathaus:
Four station shafts and two station tubes, each approx. 120 m long; two line tubes, each approx. 1,000 m long (NATM track 1 + 2); cross-passages Q1 to Q5, escalator inclined shafts, vertical and horizontal ventilation tunnels, emergency exit shaft and Schottentor descent building.

Both areas also include a series of special construction measures (groundwater lowering, bored piles, DSV, settlement compensation and building improvements).

GEODATA services: 

We were commissioned by the construction consortium to carry out all construction and heading surveys and geotechnical measurements for the underground areas. The scope of services includes motorised laser systems, tunnel scanner recordings, optical 3D displacement measurements, geotechnical instrumentation and software.
